Erin Radio is a non-profit, community-focused, volunteer-run, radio station. Erin Radio is located on Main Street in heart of the Village of Erin.
More than anything, we want to put “community” back into radio and we invite you to join us

Board of Directors
Jay Mowat
Jay started Erin Radio in 2005. He brings with him 30 years of broadcasting and journalism experience from working at the CBC. Jay has won two Gemini Awards for Broadcast Journalism. Jay also has extensive experience with grant writing and broadcast technology and equipment.

Phil Taylor
Phil has s been with the radio station since 2008. He is on the Board of Directors and is the stations Music Director and Producer. Phil has recently acted as a judge for the Juno Awards, and the Canadian Folk Music Awards.

Michael Thurnell
Mike began his radio announcing career while still in college working at radio stations in Guelph, Cambridge, Stratford and Kitchener. , Mike went on to hold numerous key positions at radio stations all over Ontario. Working as a Program and Music Director, Promotions and Production Manager and Station Manager

Ray Young
Ray has been with the radio station since 2006. He has acted as Chair of the Board and Radio Host. Ray brings with him an extensive background in Human Resources and Labour Relations.

Bryce Butcher
Bryce s a country singer with roots in Erin

Christine Butchart
Christine has been in the financial business since 1977, and has multiple financial planning designations as well as her securities and insurance licenses. Her hobbies include sound engineering for live music, knitting, reading and RVing. She has been on the board of Erin Radio since 2021.
